The ThermoPro TP50 is the first thing to buy in this category and the last thing you need to think about. It shows temperature and humidity every ten seconds, remembers the overnight high and low, and marks whether the room is dry, comfortable or humid — with no app, no account and no Wi-Fi. Why the ThermoPro TP50 exists
Before a fan, a humidifier or a purifier, there is a question: what is the room actually doing? A hygrometer answers it for less than the shipping on most of the other products in this category, and for many people the answer is "nothing much" — which is the cheapest fix of all.
The TP50 exists as the plainest version of that instrument. It has no ambition beyond showing two numbers accurately and remembering the extremes.

Does it record overnight?
Only as a high and a low since the last reset. It will tell you the room hit 78°F; it will not tell you it was at 2 a.m. For a graph, buy the Govee H5103.
What humidity should a bedroom be?
Roughly 30–50% relative humidity is the range most guidance treats as comfortable and mould-safe; the TP50's indicator marks dry, comfort and wet on that basis.
