Buy the Levoit Core 300S-P. It is the current, well-supplied small-bedroom purifier with a stated 22–24 dB sleep mode, app schedules and AHAM-verified performance. The Blueair 411i Max has the quieter stated floor (18 dB) and a clever washable fabric pre-filter, but Blueair has discontinued it and the Amazon listing under its ASIN showed a different model when we checked. Unless you already own one, the Levoit is the sensible purchase.

Is HEPASilent better than HEPA?
Different: Blueair charges particles electrostatically so a lower fan speed captures them on a looser filter, which is why it is quiet. It is effective but not a conventional true-HEPA filter, and the charging step is a mild form of ionisation.
